Unity through Music!

Brianna Abraham, Student Life Writer

What is Tri-M? Tri-M is the music honor society here at NDP. Anyone who has participated in at least one year of a music class at NDP is welcome to join. The primary goal for this honor society is to bring awareness to music throughout our everyday lives. We all have a genre of music that we are fond of, and it usually reflects our life or who we are. Music says a lot about a person.

Tri-M is a great way to bond with people that have the same interests as you. Who knows? They could turn out to be your best friend. That is what happened to Natalie Pucillo, currently a senior, “As a freshman in band, I was terrified of the new people and the new music.” Class of 2012 graduate, Jazz Keys, played the Bari Saxophone and soon became friends with Natalie. “She was always there for me through the craziness that freshman and sophomore years brought,” Natalie said. Even with hundreds of miles between them, they still manage to keep in touch.

Tri-M can bring anyone together! If you are interested in joining, come to the informational meeting October 17th at 7:30 in the Sister Marie Helen Duffy room!
