Notre Dame Preparatory school is home to one of the best volleyball teams in the state! The Varsity Volleyball team has gone undefeated so far in this season. In last year’s season the girls went undefeated in pool play, but were eliminated in semifinals, where they lost the game to Mount De Sales in the fifth set. This year revenge is on the mind for the team, along with winning this season for the seniors last year who had to end on a loss. The teams to beat this year will be Mount De Sales, Saint Paul’s, and McDonogh. The Blazers have already beat McDonogh and Mount De Sales both in three sets. The team has three captains: senior Anna Carmen, senior Natalie Garinther, and junior Francesca Zink. When asking the captains what made the team so unbeatable, Francesca Zink said, “We are a strong, loud team on AND off the court.” The girls plan on going the season undefeated and winning in the championship this year. Stay posted and come out to support the NDP Volleyball team throughout the duration of their season!
