Electronics Recycling

E-cycling. What is it? Well, in short, e-cycling is the recycling of unwanted or broken electronics to then use the materials inside them to make more products. This helps prevent truck loads of devices from being dumped into landfills. This year is the second year that NDP has been able to participate in an electronics recycling drive. As a part of Earth Week, there will be a truck coming in from Sims Recycling Solutions, a company that recycles electronics. On Friday, April 24, from 7-9 a.m. in the lower parking lot (by the exit) the SIMS truck will be be picking up donations with help from the students and faculty members from the Green School Committee. There is a small fee for each item donated. Also, there are items that are not allowed to be donated. All of this information is contained in the two documents attached to this article. Earth Week is April 20-24 so get excited! The Environmental Club has many wonderful things planned so stay tuned!
