Although the holidays are always busy and chaotic, it is a must to plan a day to go to New York City to experience the love and joy of the holidays! People travel from all around the United States to visit the city that never sleeps. From a walk in Central Park, to the bright lights on the famous Christmas tree in front of the Rockefeller Center, to the giant, red ornaments that are across the street from Radio City, there is something for everyone to see and enjoy in the city. Thousands of people flood the streets, traveling in and out of the shops to find the perfect gift to give to their loved ones before making a trip to Central Park to hold hands and ice skate.

New York at Christmastime is truly a magical place. The city turns into a winter wonderland, with lights everywhere and people laughing and smiling with their families while they enjoy the festivities, (and if you’re lucky, maybe even a little bit of snow!). Many well-known holiday movies, including Eloise at the Plaza and Elf, were filmed in the city that never sleeps. The Big Apple is the place for everyone to go to experience the joy of Christmas in just one day.
