The drum beats louder and louder, I look at the score board, and we are tied. We must win this spirit game! Someone fakes left, and the ball is passed to the right, and the ball flies into the goal. Yes, that’s right. We are up by one, and there are three minutes left. Now it’s our time to hold them and make sure they do not score. They are down on our end pressuring the goalie, but our goalie continues to save it. The buzzer goes off, and we all jump with joy. We won!

This indoor soccer game was Friday, January 8th, and it was a very important game. As of right now, we are ranked number four out of six, but very close to the teams above us.

Indoor soccer is a very interesting and exciting sport. If you love to watch outdoor soccer, you will love indoor soccer even more. The biggest component with indoor soccer is that you can use the walls ,and it never goes out, unless you hit the nets above the walls. It is a very fast game, unlike outdoor soccer, that requires sprinting the entirety of the game.

Our team motto for indoor soccer is “One Team, One Goal,” or as we refer to it, OTOG. Our team goal is to get to the championship on February 6th! Our team definitely has a chance to make it to the championships! This is our team goal!

We have a few more conference games before playoffs, but look out for emails and announcements on the intercom from the indoor soccer team. Remember the high fives in the hallway for our team and to cheer for indoor soccer!
