Pi Day is a beloved NDP tradition, coordinated by Mu Alpha Theta (the Math Honor Society). While this year had its challenges, due to the tent location and updates to the events, it was still a fun and memorable week!
On Tuesday, the halls were decked out with Pi-themed decor. Wednesday started the inaugural scavenger hunt. Thursday featured the recitation contest. Friday ended the week with enjoying pie at lunch.
Here is a breakdown of the points awarded to individual recitation winners and cumulative grade scores:
Freshman – Recitation Winner: Joshika Banerjee (64); Total Points: 136
Sophomores – Recitation Winner: Madison Saxon (327); Total Points: 932
Juniors – Recitation Winner: Cassidy Hobelmann (160); Total Points: 1749
Seniors – Recitation Winner: Andrea Barazza (200); Total Points: 1053
