It’s a perfect way to have fun and celebrate the love of friendship! Consider adding some of these activities to your Galentine’s festivities as you celebrate February’s loveliest holiday!
- Watch Rom-coms!
There’s nothing quite like a movie day with your girls, and rom-coms are the perfect genre for a light-hearted, festive mood! Whether you’re tuning into the Hallmark channel or choosing a movie of your own (I recommend 27 Dresses), you’re sure to have a great time! You can even elevate your experience by making some homemade popcorn and adding Valentine’s candy to the mix!
- Bake some Valentine’s treats!
It’s undeniable- one of the best parts of Valentine’s Day its decadent, chocolatey treats, and there’s nothing quite like the homemade version. At your Galentine’s party, get your besties and a recipe for your favorite treat (examples include brownies, chocolate-dipped strawberries, and fudge) and start baking!
- Secret Cupid!
If your love language is gift-giving, you and your friends will adore this Galentine’s game! Very similar to Secret Santa, you and your friends will draw names and bring a small present for your selected person. If you need ideas for gifts, try focusing on self-care items like face masks, or grab a box of chocolates!
- Affirmation jars!
In this activity, each guest will need a small jar and 5-10 slips of paper. Have fun decorating and personalizing your jar and writing encouraging words on your slips! Once everyone is done, trade your slips with a friend and place them in your jar! Now, everyone has some unique, uplifting messages to keep with them!
- Spa Day!
Enjoy a self-care day with your friends! Get some face masks, nail polish, and light a candle!
