Last year’s IAAM B-Conference Champions, the NDP Basketball team, has had a successful season so far. With a 14-3 record, the team has only been defeated by Episcopal Academy, John Carroll, and Dunbar. The regular season kicked off with tryouts in early November and continues until Wednesday, February 8th, 2012 with a game at Garrison Forest. Hard work and dedication are two words that properly sum up the season because the team has put lots of diligence and effort into their playing. The Dunbar game truly captures their spirit when NDP came out defeated by only a few points but showed determination with fighting until the end of overtime. The season quickly flies by as the team awaits the playoffs, and they strive to be the champions once again.
