Have you ever been scrolling on your phone, when you suddenly see the most appetizing treat on your fyp? It looks so good, and you want to make it, but you don’t know how to. Well, I’ve put some time into finding 3 simple but delicious Halloween themed treats along with their recipes. So, if you’re planning on hosting a Halloween party or are just looking for some festive fun, this article is for you! I will be sharing about what they look like, and if you’re interested you can go to www.foodnetwork.com for the recipe.
The first dessert I found doesn’t have the most appealing name, but it is definitely one of my personal favorites. Spiderweb Dirt Cups are a delicious treat made mostly of pudding. You just layer pudding with crushed Oreos (or any brown cookie of your choice) to make it look like dirt. For decoration you add gummy worms, candy eyeballs, and gummy spiders. Those all make it look like its apart of the ground. And for the spooky final touch, you can make little spiderwebs out of dried icing. Not a fan of spiderwebs? No problem! You can replace the spiderwebs with half of a Milano cookie, making the cup look like a mini graveyard.
Maybe you want a saltier treat. I found the cutest pretzel spiderwebs that’ll be sure to satisfy you. To make this, you just have to think of this like one big circle. You take about eight pretzel sticks and make them into a “separated” circle. They are NOT the perimeter of the circle; they look similar to a pie chart if all eight spaces were equal. Once happy with how it looks, you take a bag of icing and make one big spiral from the edge to the center. If you think they look too plain or just want to add more, you could add all kinds of fun sprinkles.
My final treat might just be the cutest one so far. They’re called Matcha Monster Meringues; the name is a lot, but they’re pretty easy to make. You get a piping bag full of thick icing of any color. The color of your icing will be the color of your monster, so get creative! For their eyes, you could use candy eyeballs or make your own out of marshmallows. Then you just sprinkle as much matcha powder as you want on top. And just like that you have your own adorable little monsters!
Thats all the desserts I have for now. But I just want to remind everyone that I was giving you the general idea on how to make them. This is not a recipe; it’s a reminder about fun and simple Halloween treats and being creative. If you do want to make these treats, go to www.foodnetwork.com and search up the names of the treats I’ve listed. Or, if you did not like any of them, go to that website and search for fun and easy Halloween treats!
