With summer fast approaching, we decided to poll the student body about summer plans. Summer is a time to get away from the months of difficult school work and finally relax. 82% of the student body said that they did have summer plans, and 19% said they didn’t. Some of the responses were
• Vacation in Hilton Head, Catholic Youth retreat in Steubenville, Ohio
• Going to the Dominican Republic
• France, New Orleans, Japan, Doctor Internship
• University of Rochester summer program: Introduction to Biological Research and The Ethics of Stem Cells
• A surprise destination vacation
• Working at 3 camps and showing cows
• Going to Germany
• Having a roommate for college next year coming to stay for a week
• A service trip to Haiti
• Cayman Islands
• 8 weeks of lacrosse
• Going to a One Direction concert and to the beach with friends
• Sleep accompanied by spontaneous adventures with friends
Clearly, the girls of NDP are doing a wide variety of things, and since we are such a diverse crowd, this makes sense. Whether it’s going away on vacation or staying at home for sports, the NDP community is doing it all!
